Jeffery Epstein, the billionaire fund manager now facing charges of sex trafficking underage girls, had a plethora of powerful friends in politics, banking, entertainment, and journalism. He was friendly with many of the nation’s most rich and famous–including former President Bill Clinton who took numerous rides on Epstein’s private jet, called the “Lolita Express.”
According to Fox News, newly released records prove that Clinton dined with Epstein in 1995; this directly contradicts the public statement the former president released on Monday. The statement said Clinton “knows nothing” about Epstein’s crimes and that his interactions with the billionaire didn’t begin until 2002.
But according to Fox News, a 1995 published in the Palm Beach Post stated that Clinton was in attendance at a “three hour dinner” with a “very select group of people” at the home of business magnate Ron Perelman in Palm Beach, Florida. Epstein was also in attendance, as was singer Jimmy Buffet, actor Don Johnson, and the then-co-chairman of the DNC Don Fowler.
The report obtained by Fox states, “Joining Clinton for a three-hour dinner was a very select group of people, some of whom, according to one Democratic Party source, gave as much as $100,000 to the Democratic National Committee for the privilege of dining with the president.”
Objective reporting for the educated American.
According to this report, Clinton and Epstein go back some 25 years. Here’s the statement Clinton released earlier this week:
In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation. Staff, supporters of the foundation, and his Secret Service detail traveled on every leg of every trip. He had one meeting with Epstein in his Harlem office in 2002, and around the same time made one brief visit to Epstein’s New York apartment with a staff member and his security detail. He’s not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and he has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida.
Epstein was arrested on Saturday for allegedly sex trafficking minors for years. The alleged abuse happened in both Florida, and at Epstein’s Manhattan mansions. He is accused of paying young girls hundreds of dollars in cash for each sexual encounter, and then paid them more if they could recruit other young girls.
Clinton went on Epstein’s jet 26 times, according to Fox News, and during a few of those trips his Secret Service details was not in attendance.
