Hillary Clinton Demands Trump Be Impeached Just Like Her Husband Was

Hillary Clinton has just joined Democrats in calling for Donald Trump to be impeached just hours after House Democrats announced an official impeachment inquiry into him.

“We are in a crisis,” Clinton said, according to People Magazine. “I did not come to that decision easily or quickly but this is an emergency as I see it. … This latest behavior around Ukraine, trying to enlist the president of Ukraine in a plot to undermine former Vice President Biden or lose the military aid he needs to defend against Trump’s friend, Vladimir Putin — if that’s not an impeachable offense, I don’t know what is.”

This comes after it was alleged that Trump pressured Ukraine’s government to look into the family former Vice President Joe Biden.

Not stopping there, Clinton called Trump “a reckless, corrupt human tornado who cares only about himself,” adding that it is the constitutional duty of the House of Representatives to begin impeachment proceedings “not happily or with glee,” but in the interests of national security.

“The president of the United States is betraying our country on a daily basis,” she said. “This man who is in the Oval Office right now is a clear and present danger to the future of the United States.”

When asked about Republicans, Clinton said that, “They’ve got to put country before party and there is no substitute for a careful, thoughtful response.”

Clinton, whose own husband Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives back in 1998, has been a frequent critic of Trump since he beat her in the 2016 presidential election. Back in July, she accused Trump of being racist because of his criticisms of the group of freshman congresswomen known as “The Squad,” which includes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar.

“Sending racist tweets meant to demean not only members of Congress, but all people of color, all women and all immigrants,” Clinton said. “We are better than this, but we better start proving it, not just saying it. It can’t just be a battle fought out on Twitter. That battle has to be fought and won at the ballot box – which is the only place that matters.”

When Clinton finished her speech, the audience chanted “Run Hillary Run!”
