Joy Behar Launches Vile Attack On Donald Trump’s Children

Joy Behar went after Donald Trump’s children on Tuesday when she bashed and mocked them on her ABC talk show “The View” on Tuesday. Behar even went so far as to claim that Trump has a family of “mediocrities.”

Fox News reported that Behar said this during a segment in which “The View’s” panel was discussing reports that Donald Trump Jr. and his sister Ivanka are in the middle of a brutal “Cold War” with one another that has them fighting for control of the family “dynasty.

“There’s stories about them being a dynasty — that after Trump is gone, then the next idiot and then the next idiot and then the next idiot,” Behar said. “This family is filled with mediocrities. Trump, to his credit, is a hideous, charismatic con man — that has a little potential for something. These other ones have nothing.”

Cohost Meghan McCain responded by defending Trump Jr., saying that he is very popular in the United States. However, McCain did not have kind words for Ivanka, who she claimed has not lived up to the “hype” that once surrounded her.

“It was fascinating that he, on the campaign trail, is one of the biggest fundraisers for the [Republican National Committee],” McCain said of Trump Jr., “that apparently in red America, he’s like a folk hero and that he actually has turned into the person that’s been basically the most beneficial for the administration when Ivanka, I still don’t know what she does all day, hasn’t necessarily lived up to the hype.”

Cohost Abby Huntsman tried to defend the Trump kids by saying that she feels sorry for them, but Behar was not having any of it, mockingly responding by saying “Oh, boo hoo hoo.” Huntsman then explained that she once spent “the whole day” with Ivanka and got the impression that the president’s daughter disagreed with her father on “almost everything.”

“When I interviewed Ivanka, I could see it in her face … that she wanted to tell me something that she couldn’t,” Huntsman said, adding that the first daughter has been faced with a difficult choice in her relationship with her father. Behar, however, refused to admit that Ivanka could be in a difficult position. Instead, she called on Ivanka to make the decision to oppose her father and “save the United States.”

Cohost Sunny Hostin then chimed in by saying Ivanka should not even be in the White House, adding that the idea of a political dynasty was “dated.”

“Why is Donald Trump Jr. thinking that he can run for office?” Hostin asked. “Just because their father is the president, doesn’t make them heir apparent to anything. They need to work for everything that they have.”

Behar has frequently bashed Trump’s children since he took office back in 2017. Early in 2017, when his wife Melania and 10 year-old son Barron were still living in New York City, Behar disrespected the boy by referring to him as “that child.

“Somebody find this out for me, the price that we’re paying for losing the NEA, the National Endowment for the Arts, because we are paying for this woman to live in New York with that child,” Behar said coldly.
