Trump Calls For Adam Schiff to be Arrested for Treason

President Trump kicked off Monday morning with a bang.

President Trump kicked off Monday morning with a bang.

He took to Twitter and called for Adam Schiff to be arrested for treason.

President Trump is actually right. At the very least, Schiff should have been thrown out of office by the scruff of his pencil neck for the unprofessional and unbelievable stunt he pulled last week during the impeachment investigation hearing.

Schiff used his opening statement to read a totally fake conversation between “Trump” and the “Ukraine President.”

Every bit of the letter was lies, completely made up, and Schiff read it on live TV as if it were real. People watched in shock, literally with “jaws” on the floor.

Predictably, CNN defended Schiff’s actions by stating that technically Schiff didn’t “lie,” since when he introduced his comments at Thursday’s committee hearing he he’d be outlining “the essence of what the president communicates,” not providing “the exact transcribed version of the call.”

That’s called “making sh*t up.”

The fake news fools at CNN then went on to say, “it’s important to note that we do not even have an “exact transcribed version” of the call — the rough transcript released by the White House cautions explicitly that it is “not a verbatim transcript.”

That was the exact phone call. These people are insane.

Later, after tremendous backlash, Schiff was forced to admit that his opening statement was “parody.” Of course that was long after he had read the phony document on live TV.

President Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning, where he said, “Rep. Adam Schiff illegally made up a FAKE & terrible statement, pretended it to be mine as the most important part of my call to the Ukrainian President, and read it aloud to Congress and the American people. It bore NO relationship to what I said on the call. Arrest for Treason?”

We’re not sure anyone will actually arrest Adam Schiff, although we’d love it if they did.

However, a measure was introduced last Friday by AZ Rep. Biggs to condemn and censure Schiff.

n a news release Friday, Biggs’ office said the congressman had introduced a motion “to condemn and censure” Schiff “for his false retelling” of a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“During yesterday’s hearing, Chairman Schiff’s opening statement included a blatantly false retelling of President Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian president,” Biggs said in a statement.

“Democrats previously initiated an impeachment inquiry, which leads to one of the most serious, constitutional duties of Members of Congress: removal of the President of the United States. Through this process, if the President has committed high crimes or misdemeanors, Congress may overturn the election of the President and the will of the American people,” he added.

The statement concluded: “It is therefore inexcusable to toy with the process and mislead the American public with such a statement.” [Western Journal]
