McCain Schools Cocky ‘View’ Cohosts and Audience: ‘Trey Gowdy is Bad News For Democrats’

ABC's "The View" cohost Meghan McCain, issued a  warning to her laughing, joking, cocky cohosts and the Democrat Party - she warned them not to get too excited and celebrate Trump’s addition of "hypocrite" Trey Gowdy to the impeachment defense team - because he's actually "bad news" for Democrats.

ABC’s “The View” cohost Meghan McCain, issued a warning to her laughing, joking, cocky cohosts and the Democrat Party – she warned them not to get too excited and celebrate Trump’s addition of “hypocrite” Trey Gowdy to the impeachment defense team – because he’s actually “bad news” for Democrats.

The clueless ladies on “The View” responded to Gowdy’s addition by replaying video of him from the Benghazi hearings tearing into the Obama White House for withholding documents that had been subpoenaed.

They laughed and joked after watching it, as if that somehow proves “hypocrisy” on Tump’s part for ignoring Dems written requests involving the fake impeachment inquiry.

Well, once again, Democrats are wrong.

The difference would be that there have not been any actual subpoenas issued in this phony Democrat “impeachment circus.” They’ve only sent out strongly worded letters – and that’s what the Trump admin are ignoring.  Rightfully so. However, our mainstream media are such liars, that they’re making the (non) impeachment inquiry sound much more official than it is.

[…] there are no subpoenas. As Secretary Pompeo observed in his fittingly tart response on Tuesday, what the committee chairmen issued was merely a letter. Its huffing and puffing notwithstanding, the letter is nothing more than an informal request for voluntary cooperation. Legally, it has no compulsive power. If anything, it is rife with legal deficiencies.

The Democrats, of course, hope you don’t notice that the House is not conducting a formal impeachment inquiry. They are using the guise of frenetic activity by several standing committees — Intelligence, Judiciary, Foreign Affairs, Oversight and Reform, Financial Services, and Ways and Means — whose normal oversight functions are being gussied up to look like serious impeachment business. McCain strongly rejected the laughter and jokes and told her cohosts that Gowdy might be much worse for Democrats than for Trump.

As the audience hooped and cheered, McCain shook her head in amazement. “I think I’m confused why everyone is laughing because my take on it is that they have been having closed hearings, and don’t we want as much transparency as possible?” she wondered.

The other co-hosts jumped in and (wrongly) argued that Gowdy’s move to join Trump is hypocritical.

“You can go on about Trey Gowdy,” McCain said, brushing off the criticism, “but he’s one of the great congressmen. He’s someone I have respected for years. You can laugh all you want, but the fact he’s joining Trump’s team is good news for Trump, and bad news for Democrats.”
