President Trump is right. Republicans don’t fight dirty. And while the “Mitt Romeny and Paul Ryan” “highroad” approach to issues might have been dandy back in the day, times have changed, and turning the other cheek no longer works.
We’re in a battle to save this country, and taking that “Mitt Romeny HighRoad” isn’t going to earn us the win. As a matter of fact, his stupid highroad is littered with the copses of “good intentions.”
Trump’s comments were prompted over the recent rash of House subpoenas. He explained that when Ryan was House Speaker, he would never hand out subpoenas – he was cautious and careful and he respected the processes (actually, he was a coward). Whatever the case may be, today, that attitude doesn’t work. We need to fight fire with fire if we have any hope of seriously taking back this country from the dark forces of the demonic Democrats.
Truthfully, there should have been 18 Hunter Biden subpoenas handed out by now.
Objective reporting for the educated American.
Here’s what President Trump said:
“We have great, great relationships with the people in the Rupublican Party. But they don’t fight dirty. As an example with subpoenas. You take a look at Paul Ryan when he was Speaker. He wouldn’t give em! I’m not even knocking him for that. He wouldn’t give em. He thought it was inappropriate. Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, all of the guys wanted, Gaetz, all of them. Matt Gaetz. I could name 25 people. These are incredible people. They wanted subpoenas to investigate all of the corruption that they found. Horrible, horrible corruption. Paul Ryan would say, “Well, wait a minute, slow down. Let’s come back next week.” They would come back, they wouldn’t get it. She hands them out like their cookies!”
