In a startlingly sexist statement, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) called out the men in the Dem debate in Iowa tonight, virtually terming them political losers:
“Can a woman beat Donald Trump? Look at the men on this stage. Collectively, they have lost ten elections. The only people on this stage who have won every single election that they’ve been in are the women. Amy and me.”
She said the men on stage had lost 10 elections among them, whereas she and Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) had lost none. Notice she did not specify the men.
Can you imagine the turmoil and condemnation that would have ensued if a male candidate had called out either woman on stage on the basis of gender? The hue and cry would have been deafening.
Objective reporting for the educated American.
But Warren knows she has carte blanche to trash about half the U.S. population because the effeminate Democratic party hates men and classic masculinity almost as much as it hates the United States of America.
The hypocrisy of this “toxic masculinity” argument is amazing and goes to further showcase how out of touch Dems are with men and their families.
Asked to respond to the “Can a woman beat Trump” question:
“The best way to talk about who can win is by looking at people’s winning records,” Warren said. “The only people on this stage who’ve won every election they’ve been in are the women: Amy and me” https://t.co/GzFTURAlZ9 pic.twitter.com/3Xo2I9kPLD
