Former FEMA Chief Rips Out Earpiece, Storms Off MSNBC During Live Broadcast

This interview descended into absolute chaos in a matter of minutes...But the guy who walked off was 100% correct.

Craig Fugate is the former FEMA Chief. He was appearing on MSNBC when the entire interview went off the rails.

Fugate ripped out his earpiece and stormed off stage during an interview with Katy Tur on MSNBC on Thursday. “I don’t have time to listen to bullshit, people,” Fugate grumbled as he stormed off.

The jaw-dropping scene happened during a discussion between Fugate, Tur, and Andy Slavitt.

Slavitt is the former acting administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under Obama.

Fugate and Slavitt were at odds over how the Federal government should handle the coronavirus outbreak.

Fugate is right – saying there needs to be work between state and federal government, while Slavitti wants the federal government to take total control.

“The myth of a single person in charge taking control and running this is a myth,” Fugate said. “This is going to be dealt with on the front lines and local and state levels, and each state is going to be addressing this unique to their systems.”

Fugate went on to say, “I’ve always believed the best way the federal government can support governors is to get out of their way, get them funding, use CDC to give guidance. As we’re running out of stuff, I’m asking, why are we not looking at idle capabilities now and governors go contract for that? Why wait for the federal government?”

Slavitt just kept reiterating we needed “more federal government.”

“What your other guest is suggesting here is not helpful,” Fugate said. “We need a great partnership between the federal and state government.”

Finally, Fugate had enough and left.

The liberals are really pushing this “more federal government” narrative, in hopes of attacking President Trump who has definitely been an amazing leader but has also allowed the states to run their own unique show.

Every state is different and their needs and requirements are different, so Trump’s approach is the smart way to handle this pandemic.

It’s also a bit ironic – all of these Dems now criticizing Trump for not ordering everyone around, are the same people who have been telling us he’s a “Hitler tyrant.”
