Hillary Goes Low and Takes a Swipe at Melania Trump

By Sophie O’Hara | March 6, 2020

Well, it looks like Hillary Clinton is joining the droves of other liberals and is attacking Melania on absolutely no grounds whatsoever.

Hillary being first lady herself knows the scrutiny and stress they face, but she decided to make things personal and attacked Melania’s anti-bullying campaign #BeBest, saying, “I think she should look closer to home.”

Obviously she’s attacking Melania because she’s married to her former 2016 opponent and not because of anything the First Lady said or did to her personally, which makes the comment even nastier.

Hillary Clinton made a targeted dig at first lady Melania Trump during an appearance on a late-night talk show Thursday evening.

While promoting a new documentary about her life, Clinton told Andy Cohen, host of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” her thoughts about Trump’s Be Best initiative during a segment Cohen calls “Plead the Fifth,” in which a guest is asked three short questions.
“What do you honestly think of first lady Melania Trump’s cyberbullying initiative?” asked Cohen.

“I think she should look closer to home,” replied Clinton, making a veiled reference to President Donald Trump’s social media habits. [CNN [2]]

Maybe Hillary is still holding a grudge against Melania for catching Bill checking her and Ivanka out at Trump’s inauguration.

This is a pretty low blow for Hillary, but honestly, given her track record, who’s really surprised?

She’s definitely living up to her “nasty woman” catchphrase.
