Bill de Blasio refuses to go to the park that is steps from his mansion door.
Instead, the New York City mayor and his wife insist on driving 12 miles with their security detail to walk around a park in Brooklyn. Needless to say, it’s irking the people of Brooklyn to no end.
As a matter of fact, on a recent jaunt to the park, the de Blasio’s were heckled by New Yorkers, who called them “selfish” for driving 12 miles away, when they have a park right outside their door.
Indeed, it’s not “essential” for the de Blasio’s to travel to Brooklyn.

@NYCMayor [1] no, I won't "give it a break." You don't get a break. We don't get a break.
You can't change the past & will always have blood on your hands.
If I were you, I'd be working night & day to help those in most dire need. Maybe start with your inadequate homeless services. pic.twitter.com/i71ulg7Hvl [2]

This is more of the “do as I say, not as I do” mentality that the left is famous for.
