OPINION: Three cheers for Harris Faulkner who put liberal hack Marie Harf in the hot seat when she challenged her to name a single GOP-run city that is in chaos.
Harf couldn’t name one, and watching her try to spin her way out of it was pretty darn amusing.
The discussion began when co-host Dagen McDowell listed off all the Chicago shootings over the past few days during a chat involving Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s decision to accept federal assistance to bring order to her chaotic city.
“What if it works in Chicago? What if the police in that city can stop the daily murders?” McDowell said.
Harf objected, claiming that it’s not a “binary choice” between caring for residents and law and order. She also claimed that it’s “really unfair” to blame the violence on mayors and governors.
“These are tough situations and a large majority of people on the streets, by the way, are peaceful,” Harf stated.
That’s when Harris jumped in.
“So, Marie is there another Republican-led city that is having the kind of problem we’re having in the Democrat-led city?” Faulkner asked.
“Well look, Democrats have been in charge of the big cities on our country for a long time,” Harf responded
“It’s a yes-or-no question,” Faulkner argued. “It’s a yes-or-no question.”
“It’s more complicated,” a flustered Harf said. “It’s not binary, Harris.”
“No no, it’s not a choice,” Faulkner asserted. “Is there a Republican-led city that is having the same type of violence and unrest on its streets the way it is in [a] Democrat-led trail of cities?”
Harf claimed there are “many” Republican-led cities that are violent.
“Do they look like the streets of Portland and Chicago?” Faulkner asked.
Then Harf went on to blame Trump for Portland’s woes.

Democrats want to try and make it seem as if this chaos and violence is happening “all over” the country – as if it’s a universal reaction to Trump or systemic racism from “average Americans.”
But that’s not true. What’s happening in this country is anything other than a left-wing communist movement that’s being supported by Democrat mayors and governors in hopes that somehow this helps Joe Biden win the White House.
