The video clip of an exchange between White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and Al Jazeera English White House Correspondent Kimberly Halkett quickly went viral after allegations that the reporter grumbled “lying bitch” under her breath after being cutoff.

McEnany, who had answered two questions from Halkett was simply moving on when the comment was made behind her mask.

Halkett has since claimed that she made no such comment, but was rather saying “okay, you don’t want to engage.” You can see her response on Twitter below.
