Joe Biden looks to be out of his basement. There’s now a fireplace behind him and some windows. It’s nice to see that he’s ventured off to another room.

However, he’s still bringing with him the same bumbling, confusing interviews that are hard to watch and reaffirm your belief that he has suffered significant mental decline.  Biden sat down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper for a one-on-one interview. Things got bizarre when Biden confused Jacob Blake, the black man from Kenosha who was shot by police, with a 17-year-old teen who shot rioters in self-defense.

But then the interview got even more odd.

It appears that the Biden camp has come up with a new “trick” to try and get Joe through these interviews. The Democratic nominee appears to be reading his responses to Anderson Cooper off a script.

You can see Biden literally turning his eyes away from Cooper, and looking at something and reading.

If Joe is indeed reading off a script, which looks very much like he is, does this mean that CNN is sharing questions ahead of time to help prep him for interviews?

CNN will do anything to make sure their lousy candidate has a fighting chance.
