Almost Two-Thirds Of Trump Voters Don’t Like Meghan Markle, A New Poll Has Found

A new poll has come out that found that nearly two thirds of those who voted for former President Donald Trump do not like Meghan Markle.

A new poll [1] from The Economist/YouGov found that 62 percent of Trump voters have an unfavorable view of Meghan, with 46 percent holding a “very unfavorable” view. Just 25 percent of Americans who voted for Trump have a favorable view of Meghan.

In contrast, a whopping 72 percent of people who voted for Joe Biden said that they had a favorable view of Meghan, with just 14 percent of those who voted for the Democrat viewing her unfavorably.

As for the general public, the poll found that Meghan is viewed positively by 47 percent of respondents, with 33 percent seeing her unfavorably, and 20 percent of those who responded to the survey not having an opinion on the wife of Prince Harry.

Speaking of Harry, the poll found that he pulls in similar numbers, with just 38 percent of Trump voters seeing him positively and 46 percent viewing him negatively. A staggering 76 percent of Biden voters support Harry, with just 10 percent of them viewing him negatively.

There has been no love lost between Meghan and Trump for years. Prior to her marriage to Harry, Meghan was an outspoken liberal Hollywood actress who spoke out against Trump during the 2016 presidential election.

“Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right? I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it,” Meghan said months before Trump came out victorious over Hillary Clinton.

“You’re not just voting for a woman if it’s Hillary because she’s a woman, but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting,” she added.

Trump feels similarly about Meghan, with Page Six [2] reporting that Trump publicly said last year that he is “not a fan” of Meghan after she and her husband Harry after they endorsed Biden in the presidential election.

“And I would say this — and she probably has heard that — but I wish a lot of luck to Harry, because he’s gonna need it,” Trump said.

Last month, we reported [3] that Trump was asked about rumors that Meghan wants to run for president.

“Well, I hope that happens, because if that happens, I think I’d have an even stronger feel toward running [in 2024],” Trump said in response. “I’m not a fan of hers. I think that what she talked about the Royal Family and the queen, I happen to think, I know the queen, as you know. I’ve met with the queen and I think the queen is a tremendous person and I am not a fan of Meghan.”
