Kate Middleton’s Uncle Blasts ‘Muppets’ Meghan And Harry For Throwing Royals ‘Under The Bus’

An uncle of Kate Middleton’s is speaking out this week to blast Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for the behavior they have shown in recent interviews. He also doubled down on his previous claim that Meghan and Harry are “muppets.”

Gary Goldsmith, the 55-year-old brother of Kate’s mother Carole, told Australia’s 60 Minutes that the entire family is “massively disappointed” with Meghan and Harry’s decision to throw the royal family “under the bus” in their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March. He then attacked the couple for their claim that Kate made Meghan cry during a fight over bridesmaids’ dresses.

After the interview aired, Goldsmith took to social media to describe Meghan and Harry as “muppets craving attention” before telling them to “shut the F up” and let the British move on with “saving lives” and the “economy” during the height of the coronavirus pandemic in the United Kingdom.

“I’m embarrassed about doing it but I stand by it,” Goldsmith said when asked about this post. “I’m just very disappointed with them and there’s a whole nation that’s massively disappointed with them.”

“We all love Harry, the whole world loves Harry, but you just don’t do what they did,” he added. “You just don’t do what they did and then go on Oprah and talk like that. It’s just not the way the world works.”

As for their claim about Kate making Meghan cry, Goldsmith said, “I don’t believe a word of it.”

“There were a lot of things in that interview I didn’t believe,” he continued. “Kate would always be the peacemaker in those situations. I think we saw at the funeral (for Prince Philip) that Kate is always trying to make peace.”

Goldsmith won on to add that Kate is “even lovelier on the inside than on the outside” and that if anyone had a hissy fit that day, it was certainly Meghan.

This comes after a source said that Queen Elizabeth, 94, is “deeply upset” by what she considers a series of “very personal” attacks on her family by her grandson.

“Harry’s grandmother has taken this very personally and is deeply upset by what Harry has said, in particular his comments about Charles’s parenting and suggesting his father knows no better because of how he was brought up,” the source said, according to Daily Mail. It has been a very upsetting time”
