Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy spoke out on Sunday to blame First Lady Jill Biden for the mess that is currently happening in Afghanistan.
Campos-Duffy Sounds Off
“When you look at what’s hurting America, when you look at this lack of leadership, and you wonder who are the people responsible for putting someone this incompetent and frankly this, you know, mentally frail in this position?” Campos-Duffy said.
“And yes, of course, the media and many people are saying… Susan Rice and Obama and maybe Valerie Jarrett,” she stated.
“I’m sorry, as a political spouse, I can’t help but look at Jill Biden,” she added. “No one knew better his state of mind than Dr. Jill Biden.”

“And if you ask me, the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband [Joe Biden] — to love her husband and not let him run in this mental state that he’s in,” Campos-Duffy said. “I think she failed the country as well.”
Jill Defends Biden
This comes after Jill defended her husband about the situation in Afghanistan following his withdrawal of U.S. troops.
“My heart is with all the families of those who served and sacrificed in Afghanistan for the last 20 years,” Jill began in a Twitter post.
She then quoted her husband as she wrote, “As the President said, ‘I cannot – and I will not – ask our troops to fight on endlessly in another country’s civil war – taking casualties, suffering life-shattering injuries, leaving families broken by grief and loss.’”

Biden Defends Himself
Earlier this week, President Joe Biden tried to defend himself in an address from the White House on Monday night.
“I stand squarely behind my decision. After 20 years I’ve learned the hard way that there was never a good time to withdraw U.S. forces,” Biden said, according to CNBC. “I am president of the United States of America. The buck stops with me.”
However, Biden also admitted that he had not seen this all coming.
“The truth is, this did unfold more quickly than we anticipated,” Biden said of the swift offensive carried out by the Taliban.
