Newsmax Anchor Loses It When Veteran Blames Afghanistan Crisis On Trump – ‘Cut Him Off, Now!’

WOAH... Stinchfield got FIRED UP

Newsmax anchor Grant Stinchfield became irate on Wednesday night when one of his guests tried to blame former President Donald Trump for the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, which was Joe Biden’s fault.

While appearing as a guest on Stinchfield’s show, Army veteran Joe Saboe claimed that the Trump administration’s efforts to withdraw troops from Afghanistan were “weak” and that the former president was trying to “limit” the number of people would be evacuated. Stinchfield, however, was not having any of it.

“Cut him off, cut him off now! You’re not going to blame this on President Trump on my show,” Stinchfield yelled. “That’s not happening.”

“Now I appreciate the work that you’re doing. God Bless you for being a veteran. God Bless you for trying to get Americans out,” he added. “But don’t come on this program and take the talking point to the left and blame President Trump. That’s not helping anybody. The Biden administration screwed this up from the very start. You know it, I know it, the country knows it.”

Stinchfield later took to Twitter to call his statement a “truth bomb.”

The Daily Caller reported that while Biden said last month that he “bears responsibility” for the withdrawal in Afghanistan, he then also blamed Trump for having “made a deal with the Taliban; that he would get all American forces out of Afghanistan by May 1 [2021]. In return, he was given a commitment that the Taliban would continue to attack others but would not attack any American forces.”

On the twentieth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks last weekend, Trump called out Biden for messing everything up in Afghanistan.

“To have that embarrassment to take place in Afghanistan with the same people who did the damage 20 years ago — it is the greatest embarrassment in the history of our country,” Trump told Fox News. “There has never been anything like this. It looks like we fled, and it is all because we have an incompetent person as the leader of our country.”

Trump added that this “never would have happened” under his administration.

“I didn’t even stick to it because I wanted to get out by May 1, and when they violated conditions, we bombed and did a lot of things,” Trump said. “They adhered to one condition— don’t kill Americans or soldiers. We hadn’t lost a soldier or an American in 18 months in Afghanistan. It was going along very well.”

“They never would have come anywhere near us. It wouldn’t have happened. They wouldn’t have taken over anything,” Trump said, referring to the Taliban. “They knew that if they did, they would be bombed into hell. They knew that —, and that’s why they never would have come in to fill this vacuum.”

Trump went on to say that the entire Biden administration “looks like fools,” calling their rhetoric “sad and pathetic.”

“These are the people that knocked down the World Trade Center. These are the people who have treated people so inhumanely, so badly,” Trump said. “I mean, we have been fighting them for 25 years, and to think that they’re now reliable?”

There is no mistaking the fact that the Afghanistan disaster is Biden’s fault, not Trump’s. We applaud Stinchfield for refusing to allow his guest to spread the lie that Trump is to blame for something that Biden did.
