Nicki Minaj Fires Back At Biden After WH Claims On Vaccine ‘Meeting’

The rapper Nicki Minaj fired back at President Joe Biden on Wednesday after his White House issued a statement clarifying that a phone call was offered to her to talk about her concerns about the COVID-19 vaccines, not an in-person visit.

“Do y’all think I would go on the internet and lie about being invited to the f—ing White House? Like what? Do you guys see what is happening right now?” Minaj said in a video posted on her Instagram page.

Minaj went on to claim that her manager and publicist were on a call with the White House in which Biden officials said, “We’d like to offer Nicki an invitation to come to the White House to speak with” Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Dr. Anthony Fauci. The rapper claimed that she told the White House officials that she would rather not travel and suggested either public or private “live” video on social media.

According to Minaj, the White House was open to some “live” session, but they never took an in-person visit to the White House off the table.

Earlier in the day, the White House claimed that only a phone call was offered to Minaj.

“As we have with others, we offered a call with Nicki Minaj, and one of our doctors to answer questions she has about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine,” one White House official told Fox News [2].

This came after Minaj tweeted, “The White House has invited me & I think it’s a step in the right direction. Yes, I’m going. I’ll be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde, so they know I mean business. I’ll ask questions on behalf of the ppl who have been made fun of for simply being human.”

Minaj said that the White House called back after she put out the tweet about the invitation and “weren’t too happy” about her revealing it publicly in her Instagram video.

This all came after Minaj revealed on Twitter earlier in the week that she would not be attending the Met gala because of the vaccination requirement for attendees, writing, “if I get vaccinated, it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime, my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one.”

“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent,” she later added. “His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married. Now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci spoke out the next day to try and shut down Minaj’s claim.

“There’s no evidence that it happens, nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen,” Fauci told CNN [8]. “There’s a lot of misinformation, mostly on social media, and the only way we know to counter mis- and disinformation is to provide a lot of correct information and to essentially debunk these kinds of claims, which may be innocent on her part. I’m not blaming her for anything, but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis.”

This public shaming of Minaj over her vaccination stance has gone way too far. Like every other American, she has every right to decide whether or not to get the vaccine for herself. We applaud Minaj for fighting back against Biden and everyone else who is trying to bully her into getting vaccinated.
