Sarah Palin Reveals She Hasn’t Gotten Vaccine Because She Has ‘Natural Immunity’ From Having COVID – ‘I Believe In Science’

The former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin spoke out this week to reveal that she has not gotten the COVID-19 vaccine because she has “natural immunity” from previously contracting the virus.

“I am one of those white common sense conservatives,” she began, according to Daily Mail [1]. “I believe in the science and I have not taken the shot. I do believe in science and the Faucism of the day back then was if you’ve had COVID, I’ve had COVID, well then mother nature was creating an immunity into me.”

“The Fauci-ism of the day, back then, was if you’ve had COVID — I’ve had COVID — well then mother nature was creating an immunity,” Palin added. “And even today they say you’re 27 percent more immune—”

“So I want to ask the questions,” she said.

The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said [4] earlier this month that “evidence is emerging that people get better protection by being fully vaccinated compared with having had COVID-19. One study [5] showed that unvaccinated people who already had COVID-19 are more than 2 times as likely than fully vaccinated people to get COVID-19 again.”

This comes one month after Palin announced that she may jump back into politics with a bid for Senate in 2022, challenging the anti-Donald Trump incumbent Lisa Murkowski, who has been in office since 2002.

“If God wants me to do it I will,” Palin said when asked if she would run back in July. “What I would do if I were to announce is say you know what, you guys better be there for me this time because a lot of people weren’t there for me last time and that’s why characterization-wise, I got clobbered.”

Palin revealed her COVID-19 diagnosis earlier this year, saying that the “worst thing about COVID” was that “when you’re not feeling well, don’t you still just want your mom?”

“As confident as I’d like to be about my own health, and despite my joking that I’m blessed to constantly breathe in the most sterile (frozen!) air, my case is perhaps one of those that proves anyone can catch this,” she told People Magazine [6].

Palin went on to say that her illness began when “one of my daughters awoke to having lost her sense of taste and smell [and] immediately had a positive COVID test, then was quarantined in isolation.”

“I then observed symptoms in my son Trig, who curiously is the most enthusiastic mask-wearer, and after our numerous negative tests over the year, he tested positive,” Palin said. “Children with special needs are vulnerable to COVID ramifications [Trig was born with Down syndrome], so with a high fever he was prescribed azithromycin, which really seemed to help, and I increased amounts of vitamins I put in his puréed food.”
