Joe Rogan Blasts Colin Kaepernick For Comparing NFL To Slavery

Kaepernick is so out of touch.

From the moment that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick took a knee, he became a woke icon who remains at the forefront of the supposed liberal revolution. In the recent Netflix special called “Colin in Black & White,” Kaepernick daringly compares the NFL combine to being an American slave.

While both shocking and absurd, the special hasn’t drawn much attention as the woke mob is too busy attacking Dave Chappelle. Still, Kaepernick’s words didn’t sit too well with podcast icon Joe Rogan who said bluntly, “What the f*** are you talking about?”

Sitting down with comedian Theo Von, the discussion surrounding Kaepernick and his recent statement came up. After saying, “Throwsa Parks, that’s what I call that dude,” Von added, “That is the lamest — I did try to watch it. It makes me sad. It makes me sad because it feels like the lowest — it’s like the lowest pandering for racism that you could create.

“It’s almost infantile, the pandering of it. And I think it takes away from, like real racist s***. It’s just like…”

Known for cutting his guest off, Rogan interrupted with, “Imagine comparing the ability to do it or not do it, you sign up for it,.  everybody — like, so many people who play football want to be in the NFL. It’s a goal. It’s a dream. You can make millions of dollars. And imagine comparing that to slavery simply because they measure people’s physical performance.”

Rogan also noted, “That’s what he’s doing; he was measuring like wing spans and the combine scores, like for weightlifting and speed and all that stuff. That’s to see how physically adept you are, how good you’re gonna be at football, so they’ll give you tons of money. The idea that this is comparable to slavery, whoever f***ing wrote that down and then he — the fact that he read it and said it, and then they had that video where they’re comparing the NFL owners to the slave masters and they’re shaking hands with each other: What the f*** are you talking about?”

“And it’s such a racist thing toward white people, it’s like, cause all the owners they are white, it’s just blatantly white …” Von answered back.

Agreeing, Rogan insisted, “It’s insulting to the players, too,” Rogan pointed out. “Can you imagine, you’re comparing the players to slaves, the players that want to be there; it’s a life goal. It’s a dream. They’re actually NFL stars. They’re actual superstars in the NFL. And someone is comparing you to a slave. You’re making millions and someone’s comparing you to a slave.”

In the end, Rogan concluded, “It’s just absurd. … It’s reaching so hard. Just so hard,” Rogan declared. “No one watched that and went, ‘Yeahhh.’ If they did they need to go to a doctor. Someone needs to talk to you. ‘Have a seat on the couch. You okay?’”
