Trump Fires Back At Report Melania Won’t Return To White House If He Wins In 2024 – ‘Fake News’

Since moving out of the White House, Melania has kept a low profile in Florida

Former President Donald Trump is speaking out this week to shoot down reports that his wife Melania will not be returning to the White House in 2024 if he runs for president again and wins. Trump went so far as to rip these reports as “fake news.”

“Is it true that the former First Lady Melania Trump has told you: ‘I’m not going back if you run again?'” Fox News host Brian Kilmeade asked Trump.

“No, that’s not true,” Trump responded, according to Business Insider. “More fake news.”

“She was a great first lady, she did a great job. She loves the people, they love her,” Trump added of his wife. “I see how they love her.”

This came after CNN reported back in September that Melania was trying to avoid the spotlight, with one anonymous source saying that she views her life in the White House as being “over.”

“You’re not going to see her at rallies or campaign events, even if he ‘officially’ says he’s running again,” another anonymous source told CNN, adding that while Lara Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle have the “urge” for a 2024 Trump presidential run, Melania “absolutely does not.”

While campaigning for former NFL star Herschel Walker, who is running for Senate, Trump teased a potential

“I say I ran twice,” Trump said, according to TMZ. “We won the first time, we won the second time by much more, we did much better the second time. And, I think you’ll be very happy with what we’re gonna say about the third time.”

Earlier this week, Trump was asked by former British politician and Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage why he would “give up an amazing life” and consider reentering politics, which Farage described as “absolute hell.”

“If you love the country, you have no choice,” Trump replied, according to Newsweek. “It’s not a question … this is a wonderful, beautiful life—but I like that too because I was helping people. That’s why I did it. And I think you’ll be happy in the future, too.”

Back in May, said that his supporters would be “very, very happy” when he makes “a certain announcement” about running again.

Since moving out of the White House, Melania has kept a low profile in Florida, but she has never given any indication that she would not be returning to the White House in 2024 if her husband runs in the next presidential election and comes out victorious.
