New Twitter owner Elon Musk is not pleased with the Biden administration’s establishment of a censorship board to regulate conservative speech. His comment of “disturbing” is a vast understatement.

“For Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral, which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left equally,” is Musk’s take on the situation. But not Biden’s, nor whatever fascist has her hands up his back today.

“The goal is to bring the resources of (DHS) together to address this threat,” Secretary Mayorkas said, adding that the censorship department is focused on the spread of “disinformation” in minority communities.  Two interesting things there. One, free speech is a threat to Mayorkas. Two, only minority communities should be protected from this threat. Those two concepts define much of the Biden administration.

Fox pundit Jeanine Pirro had this to say, “Isn’t it amazing how fast they got this disinformation group together? – given how long it took them to get weapons to Ukraine… or how disorganized they were in getting out of Afghanistan.” She’s right. They’ve had this up their sleeves for a while. But then, no one ever accused fascists of not planning.

FNC: “Tesla CEO Elon Musk appeared to react negatively on Twitter in response to the Biden administration’s establishment of a ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ to combat online disinformation just days after Musk’s deal to buy Twitter.

‘Discomforting,’ the South African billionaire posted on Twitter in response to a tweet from conservative commentator Steven Crowder comparing the newly established board to Nazi Germany.”

This is the most serious provocation of the Biden administration to date. Not only the new Twitter, but any online comment that doesn’t toe the line of the hard left would disappear under the Orwellian guise of “hate speech” or “violation of federal standards.” That’s what we’re looking at.

Evelyn Waugh said, through a character, that he was glad for the Nazi Soviet Non-Aggression Pact of 1939 because the mask had finally been ripped off modernity. As such, in some ways this blatantly repressive move by the Biden administration means we can take the gloves off. These people are after nothing less than the end of the free republic as we know it. They deserve to be fought with every political weapon at our disposal. For now.
