Ilhan Omar Humiliated As She’s Booed At Somali Music Festival In Minnesota – ‘Get The F*** Out Of Here’

If Somali American's are booing her, maybe she can be defeated

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), a longtime member of the radically liberal “Squad” that is led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), was humiliated over the weekend when she was brutally booed at a music festival in her home state of Minnesota.

The Daily Caller reported that Omar was audibly booed immediately after she took the stage to present an award to Somali artist Suldaan Seeraar at an event that was being held during the state’s celebration of Somali independence. Festival-goers could specifically be heard shouting “get the f*ck out of here” at the Target Center in Minneapolis after Omar walked onstage with her husband Tim Mynett.

“Ok. Ok. Ok. Ok. Ok. We don’t have all night,” Omar told the crowd as she tried to quiet the boos.

“Ilhan Omar’s BOOOD by nearly 10K SOMALIS at a sold-out, highly-anticipated Somali music concert at Target Center in Minneapolis! This’s what she gets for trading her Godly, Conservative values for the sinful LGBTQIA’s & the promiscuous abortionists,” tweeted Shukri Abdirahman, who is running as a Republican for Omar’s seat.

Republican Cecily Davis, who is also challenging Omar for her seat, responded to the booing by telling Fox News that residents of Omar’s district in Minneapolis are “ready for change” and want a candidate who will better reflect their conservative values.

“Her policies are very unpopular to those in her own community,” Davis explained. “I am not shocked that they booed her. She’s very unpopular among the people of Somalia and Minneapolis. You know what? They’ve decided that they are no longer going to operate as a monolith.”

“They recognize that she does not represent them, and they are ready for change,” she continued. “They are looking for a champion who actually represents their conservative values here in congressional district five.”

This comes after Omar responded to the overturn of Roe v. Wade by claiming that she would be “forced” to have children or die in states with laws that banned or restricted abortion.

“In almost half of this country, states are ready to ban abortion,” Omar said. “Outright ban abortion. That means if you are sick, if you are raped, there is incest, you are forced to have that baby or die.”

The New York Post reported that Omar also said at a Town Hall last week that she experienced more violence in her adopted home state of Minnesota than she did in a Kenyan refugee camp.

“For four years [in the camp] I did not witness that kind of violence,” she claimed. “My first year in Minnesota I both saw a person shot at Peavey Park, dead on the floor, three weeks after my father and I arrived in Minneapolis.”

“Six months later I watched the Minneapolis police put 38 bullets into the body of a mentally disabled Somali immigrant who didn’t speak English,” Omar added. “So [for] six years I had the privilege of not seeing any violence until I moved to Minnesota.”

In the end, it’s not hard to tell exactly why the people of Minnesota have had enough of Omar.
