DeSantis Has Perfect Response After ‘The View’ Asks Him To Come On The Show

The office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) had a truly epic response when the ABC talk show “The View” invited him to appear on the show.

Fox News [1] has confirmed that “The View” did indeed invite DeSantis to appear on the program, and his deputy press secretary Bryan Griffin took to social media to share how he responded.

“Thanks for the invite. I understand that you are sending this request on behalf of your team,” Griffin wrote. “But are the hosts of the View really interested in hearing from Governor DeSantis about all of the important work he is doing on behalf of Floridians to protect their health and livelihoods, to stand up for parents and children, and to defend freedom?”

“Which of the below statements from the hosts of the View do you recommend our team consider when deciding if the interview with be a genuine pursuit of truth?” he added.

Griffin proceeded to offer four examples that included Joy Behar calling DeSantis a “homicidal sociopath,” Sunny Hostin declaring him to be a “fascist and a bigot,” Ana Navarro calling him “anti-Black” and Hostin slamming his policies as “anti-Black history laws.”

“We will pass on this offer,” Griffin concluded. “Also please note- we don’t coordinate appearances or events of a political nature from the official office. Our role is to serve the people of Florida.”

The women of “The View” love attacking DeSantis, with Hostin nicknaming him “DeathSantis” for his COVID-19 policies at one point. This very week, Navarro has claimed that DeSantis is more focused on keeping children out of drag shows than he is on what she alleges is Florida’s “housing crisis,” “insurance crisis” and a “climate crisis.” his came after “The View” co-hosts blasted DeSantis for filing a complaint against the Miami restaurant R House for hosting “lewd activity” while minors were present.

“Do I think a 5-year-old should be at a drag show? No, but you know what? If you are for parental choice when it comes to your kid wearing a mask to school, if you are for parental choice when it comes to your kid learning about slavery and learning the true history of this country, then why in the hell can’t you be about parental choice on whether you take your kid to a drag show or not?” argued Navarro, who regularly guest hosts “The View.”

Navarro went on to claim that Americans are “cherry-picking” when it comes to parental choice.

“I looked at the top causes of endangerment for children, of children’s death,” she said. “It’s firearms. It’s car accidents. It’s drownings. It is not drag queens. I’ve yet to see a kid that dies from being exposed to a drag queen.”

Many would argue that the left is terrified of DeSantis because of how successful he was in keeping his state open during the COVID-19 pandemic. He’s been seen as an early frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, particularly if Donald Trump doesn’t run. However, DeSantis has yet to confirm publicly if running for president is something that interests him.
