Ghislaine Maxwell Scores Cushy New Job In Jail – Fellow Inmates Livid

Ghislaine Maxwell, the alleged former madam of the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, is currently serving a twenty year sentence in a Florida prison for her role in his sex crimes. Now, it’s been revealed that Maxwell has already scored a cushy new job in her prison, much to the dismay of her fellow inmates.

Daily Mail [1] reported that just a few weeks into her prison, Maxwell has landed a cozy job working in the legal library at her facility. The job has been compared to that of the character Andy Dufresne in the 1994 movie The Shawshank Redemption, as it will keep the 60 year-old former British socialite from having to take one of the unsavory cleaning or cooking jobs that her fellow inmates are forced to take.

“There are girls inside who have washed thousands of floors, peeled thousands of vegetables, done all manner of things, including keeping their noses clean, hoping for such a gig,” one inmate told The Mirror [2]. “Yet Ghislaine is gifted it.”

The job follows a typical Monday-Friday schedule, giving Maxwell plenty of time to socialize. This gig was given to her by the leadership at the low security FCI Prison in Tallahassee where she will be serving out her sentence.

“Many of the girls were p***** at how she swanned in and was given such a plum job,” the source said. “They joke she has done a Shawshank Redemption and landed on her feet with her library gig.”

The Shawshank Redemption is about a former wealthy banker who is convicted of a murder that he did not commit, and then uses his wits to get through his prison term. In contrast to this character, however, Maxwell seems to be very guilty of helping to recruit young girls for sex with Epstein, and sometimes participating in the abuse herself.

“She is highly intelligent,” the source continued of Maxwell. “The IQ of most of in there, you can imagine, is low, but all the girls know you have to earn the right for such a job.”

Maxwell grew up in a life of privilege, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and other powerful figures.

“Ghislaine’s life could not be more different,” said the source. “Gone are Prada clothes and foie gras. Her posh accent stands out a mile while she is surrounded by killers, drug runners, fraudsters and other sex offenders. If only her pals could see her now.”

Maxwell is being held in the general prison population in Unit B South, a dormitory of 120 beds separated into cul-de-sacs of four bunks. She is allowed to visit the prison’s store once every two weeks, and she can spend a maximum of $352 at a time there. Maxwell and her fellow inmates can earn money from their jobs, or have people deposit money into their accounts.

During the two years that Maxwell was held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center while awaiting trial, she was held in solitary confinement, and she made 100-plus complaints about harsh conditions there.

“Tallahassee is nothing like that, it is a world away,” said the insider.

Many still want Maxwell to name some of the other powerful figures who may have been connected to Epstein, who allegedly committed suicide in prison in August of 2019 while awaiting trial on his own sex crime charges. It remains to be seen if she will ever do that.
