A 64-year-old Indiana man was killed Wednesday after a semi-truck allegedly ran a red light and caused a three-vehicle crash in Hendricks County, as reported[1] by The Gateway Pundit.
The crash occurred around noon in Avon at the intersection of U.S. 36 and County Road 525 East, according to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office and reporting from Fox 59.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12 p.m. on a report of a crash involving multiple vehicles. A preliminary investigation found that three vehicles were involved in the collision.

According to a news release from the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, a Freightliner semi-truck with a trailer was traveling eastbound on U.S. 36 when it allegedly ran the red light at the intersection.
The semi reportedly struck a Chevrolet pickup truck that was traveling northbound.
The impact then caused the Chevrolet to collide with a Chrysler Sebring that was in the left turn lane traveling westbound on U.S. 36.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 64-year-old Terry Schulz, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other individuals involved in the crash were transported to a hospital, authorities said.
Fox 59 reported that the semi-truck driver is an illegal alien. The driver’s identity has not been released.
In a statement to Fox 59, authorities said, “ISP was on the scene and have detained him for ICE. You will need to reach out to ISP PIO for further information regarding their investigation.”
The Indiana State Police responded to the scene and detained the semi-truck driver for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Further details regarding the driver’s status and the investigation have not yet been released.
A witness to the crash told Fox 59 she was nearly struck by the semi-truck. She said she exited her vehicle and prayed over Schulz as he took his last breath.
The woman also said she would like to meet Schulz’s family to let them know he was not alone when he passed away.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing. Officials have not announced any charges related to the incident.
