Journalist John Solomon described new developments involving ActBlue during a recent statement, outlining details from a report he said was published on his outlet and pointing to ongoing investigations at both the federal and congressional levels.
Solomon said the report was released shortly before his remarks and characterized it as significant.
“This is a bombshell report just a few minutes ago, over at Justin news.com,” Solomon said.
He added that the report was produced with a colleague, stating, “Ben Whedon and I just broke a story.”
According to Solomon, the investigation has been underway for an extended period and has involved senior leadership connected to the organization.
“The memory had chairman, Brian style on here,” Solomon said. “He’s been leading this investigation since the summer of 23.”
Solomon said the report details concerns involving individuals who were part of ActBlue’s leadership during a period when large sums of money were processed.
“Almost all of the senior leadership of ActBlue who were there in 2024 when those hundreds of millions of dollars belonging to, they all took the fifth according to this report that we put out,” Solomon said.
He continued, “They also all are leaving out of concern of what might have happened while they were there.”
Solomon also pointed to issues involving donations that were not initially flagged.
“And there’s some pretty significant red flags about suspicious donations that didn’t get flagged at the time, but now look like to be problematic,” he said.
He reiterated the scope of the report, stating, “This is a bombshell report.”
Solomon said the findings are connected to broader investigative activity, including federal law enforcement efforts.
“It sets up there is a grand jury and an FBI investigation that’s paralleling or shadowing what the Congress has done,” he said.
He added that Congress has already taken action related to the matter.
“Congress referred some of this evidence a few weeks ago,” Solomon said.
Describing the situation, he stated, “It’s a big, big story.”
Solomon also referenced individuals he said were tied to ongoing investigations.
“ActBlue. John Brennan, James Comey, all you know, in the in the deep, some very serious criminal investigations and cash,” he said.
He further referenced recent commentary about potential developments in the case.
“Batil on TV yesterday saying, couple weeks, two weeks, you’re going to see some big arrests and indictments that’s consistent with what we’ve been reporting on the show,” Solomon said.
Solomon concluded by noting that activity appears to be increasing around the investigations.
“But yeah, there’s some movement,” he said. “So there’s some accountability moving.”
He added, “Yeah, see if it happens.”
