President Trump Responds to Tucker Carlson Criticism Over Easter Iran Post [WATCH]

President Donald Trump responded Tuesday to criticism from former Fox News host Tucker Carlson following remarks Carlson made about the president’s recent social media posts concerning Iran, as reported [1] by The Gateway Pundit.

The exchange follows a Truth Social post issued by Trump on Easter Sunday, in which he warned Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face potential military action targeting infrastructure.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fu**in’ Strait, you crazy bstards, or you’ll be living in Hll – WATCH! Praise be to Allah,” Trump wrote in the post.

Carlson responded Monday in a post on X, criticizing the timing and tone of Trump’s message.

“Desecrating Easter was the first step toward nuclear war,” Carlson wrote. “Christians need to understand where Trump is taking us.”

Carlson expanded on those remarks during his show, describing Trump’s Easter message as “a mockery, not just of Islam but of Christianity.”

He also said that using explicit language while warning of strikes on infrastructure was “evil on every level.”

Trump addressed Carlson’s comments in an interview on Tuesday with The New York Post, responding directly to the former television host.

“Tucker’s a low-IQ person that has absolutely no idea what’s going on,” Trump said. “He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls.”

“I don’t deal with him,” Trump added. “I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”

The comments mark a public exchange between Trump and Carlson, who previously maintained a close working relationship during Carlson’s tenure at Fox News.

Carlson has continued to comment on political issues through his independent platform since leaving the network.

The dispute comes amid heightened tensions involving Iran, following Trump’s warning about potential military action tied to the Strait of Hormuz.

The president’s statements have drawn responses from various commentators and public figures as the situation develops.

No additional response from Carlson to Trump’s remarks was immediately available.
