President Trump Replaces Freedom 250 ‘No Talent’ Dropouts, Promises “Greatest Music Ever Played”

President Donald Trump unveiled a new lineup for his Freedom 250 rally after previously announced performers dropped out, calling them “no-talent” acts, as reported ^[1] by The New York Post.

The announcement came on Thursday, when Trump posted details of what he described as an “unforgettable celebration” of America’s 250th birthday.

“On Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 P.M., in magnificent Washington, D.C., now totally beautified, and one of the Safest Cities anywhere in the World, and in celebration of our Country’s 250 Year History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER!” he wrote on Truth Social.

Trump promised that the event on the National Mall would be “special at every level — A Rally to end all Rallies.”

He made clear that the concert would no longer feature the artists who recently canceled their appearances, saying, “We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep, we’ve told them all to stay home.”

“All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!” the President continued.

In their place, Trump said Lee Greenwood would take the stage to perform his patriotic anthem “God Bless the U.S.A.” and introduce him to the crowd.

He also announced that tenor Christopher Macchio would sing several beloved standards, including “Nessun Dorma,” “Hallelujah,” “Ave Maria,” and “God Bless America.” Trump compared Macchio’s voice to that of the late Luciano Pavarotti, declaring, “Not since the legendary Luciano Pavarotti has there been such a voice!”

According to Trump, the musical performances will also include appearances by the US Army Band, the Armed Forces Choir, the US Marine Band, and the Joint Armed Forces Chorus. He promised they would perform “all of your favorite Hits.”

In typical fashion, he also teased his own appearance, writing that “PLUS a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as President DONALD J. TRUMP” would deliver remarks at the rally.

Freedom 250, an initiative launched through a Trump executive order, had previously announced that performers including Morris Day, Young MC, the Commodores, Bret Michaels, and Martina McBride had been booked for the event.

However, many of those artists withdrew after learning the festival was organized under the Freedom 250 label aligned with the Trump administration.

Some of the acts said they had been misled or cited unspecified grievances when explaining their decision to drop out.

Trump’s Thursday post appeared to directly address that controversy, recasting the lineup change as a patriotic upgrade rather than a setback.

While critics saw turmoil behind the scenes, Trump framed the shift as part of an effort to deliver “the Greatest Rally, EVER” in celebration of the nation’s 250th year.

The Freedom 250 celebration is billed by organizers as a cornerstone event marking the country’s upcoming semiquincentennial milestone.
