Brown, frontman of the Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band, performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” alongside the United States Marine Band and the combined Armed Forces Chorus.

“Man, I’m there for the troops, man. I’m there to honor America. This is patriotism, not politics for me. F*** all the division. I don’t believe in that. I love this country.”
As the final notes of “Home of the Brave” echoed across the South Lawn, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels executed a dramatic joint flyover, capping the anthem with roaring precision.
