Many of the images show de Armas wearing a patterned multicolored string bikini while partying poolside. She completed the look with a stack of bracelets as she relaxed beside the water.
In one photo, de Armas cuddles her dog while sitting on the edge of the pool with her legs in the water. The actress smiles as she holds the dog close against her bikini.
The same swimsuit appears throughout several other moments from the gathering. De Armas can be seen hugging friends, laughing beside the pool, and spending time around a table during a board game.
Another photo captures de Armas once again sitting at the edge of the pool, this time helping her dog take a dip in the water.

De Armas received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in “Knives Out.” That recognition led to her starring as Marilyn Monroe in “Blonde,” a performance that ultimately earned her an Academy Award nomination.
Preparing to play Monroe required extensive work on the famous movie star’s accent. De Armas discussed that demanding process during a 2021 interview with The Sunday Times.
“I tried!” the actress, who was born in Cuba, told the publication. “It only took me nine months of dialect coaching, and practicing, and some ADR sessions. It was a big torture, so exhausting. My brain was fried.”
Although her performance later received recognition from the Academy, the casting initially drew backlash. Some critics objected to a Cuban actress portraying Monroe, while others focused specifically on de Armas’ accent.
One critic wrote that her “heavy accent” prevented her from sounding like Monroe. Another X user questioned the performance after the trailer was released.

Brad Pitt defended de Armas amid the criticism surrounding her casting. His production company, Plan B, produced “Blonde,” and he told Entertainment Tonight at the time that “she is phenomenal in” the movie.
“That’s a tough dress to fill,” Pitt said about the role.
“It was 10 years in the making. It wasn’t until we found Ana that we could get it across the finish line.”
