Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old model and son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber, has died.
Presley was one of the prominent couple’s two children, both of whom pursued modeling careers like their mother, as reported [1] by The Gateway Pundit.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said Presley died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility. His cause of death has not been released, and TMZ was the first outlet to report his death.
A representative for Crawford said the family is asking for privacy.
The devastating news follows a period in which Presley had spoken publicly about his mental health, drug use, panic attacks, and the medications he said he was taking.

Presley’s sister, 24-year-old model Kaia Gerber, discussed the effect of her brother’s struggles during an interview with Vogue last month.
She said his drug use and mental health difficulties had affected the entire family.
“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” Kaia said.

Her remarks offered a stark picture of how Presley’s personal struggles had reached beyond him and touched those closest to him.
Presley began modeling when he was 15. During his career, he appeared in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein, following his mother into the modeling industry alongside Kaia.
He was arrested for driving under the influence in 2019. Last November, Presley announced that he was stepping away from social media so he could care for his mental health.
One month after that announcement, Presley posted a video in which he spoke about his personal life and listed medications he said he was taking for night terrors and panic attacks.
“I feel like honesty is the best policy,” he said.
Presley said he was taking 1 milligram of buprenorphine twice each day. The drug is used for pain and opioid use disorder, according to the source account of his remarks.
He also discussed his benzodiazepine use and said the amounts had been “fluctuating up and down depending on what’s been going on in my life.”
His description reflected uncertainty about a regimen that he said had changed with his circumstances.
“Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently,” Presley said. “So that is not an excuse, but it’s the reason why I am where I’m at now.”
Presley did not explain what loss he was referring to in the video. He also said he took Xanax at night or when his “panic attacks are really, really bad,” and he mentioned taking Valium.
While discussing how much medication he was using, Presley said he no longer knew the amount. “Who f***ing knows anymore,” he said.
He also described receiving different messages from doctors while trying to understand his situation.
Doctors, Presley said, “say a lot of different things, so it’s kind of scary. But hopefully between my research and their research and the world and God, we can finally figure this out.”
Presley had previously expressed a desire to use his experiences to help other people.
During a February 2023 appearance on the Studio 22 podcast, he spoke about reaching anyone who might be experiencing circumstances similar to those he had faced.
“I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do,” Presley said during that interview.
He expanded on that hope by describing a broad wish to support people facing depression or other difficulties.
“That’s really what I want to do—help people, whether you’re depressed, you’re struggling with something that is having a negative effect on your body. I mean it could be anything, and there’s no judgment,” he explained at the time.
“I’ve seen a lot of stuff, and I’ve learned a lot of things. What I hope I can do is have made the mistakes for other people, so they don’t have to make the same mistakes that I made,” Presley said.
The cause of Presley’s death remains undisclosed. As his family confronts the loss, its representative has made its immediate request clear by asking the public to respect the family’s privacy.
