Brazilian Left’s “Miracle” Millions: Eduardo Bolsonaro Calls Out the Impossible Election Numbers [WATCH]

Eduardo Bolsonaro is calling for Brazil’s election results to be rejected and the vote canceled, alleging that the second-round outcome included statistical irregularities, unexplained vote shifts and an unauthorized extension of voting hours.

Bolsonaro said the first round ended with Flavio Bolsonaro in first place with 47% of the vote and Lula in second with 45%.

“Hi, folks. Let me explain to you what just happened in Brazil. In the first round of Brazilian election, everybody runs. We do not have primaries in Brazil. So, in the first position, it ended Flavio Bolsonaro with 47% of the votes, and then Lula in the second place with 45% of the votes.”

He compared the situation with Colombia before arguing that Brazil’s second-round result broke with the pattern established since the country’s re-democratization in 1985.

“In Brazil, this didn’t happen, at least officially, and it’s weird because first of all, it’s the first time in the Brazilian history since the re-democratization that we had in 1985 that a candidate that finish first in the first round do not win in the second round, but things are getting worse when you see the numbers.”

Bolsonaro then focused on the votes received by candidates who finished third through sixth in the first round. He identified Henan Santos with 2,065,087 votes, Kayao with slightly more than 2.6 million, Zema with 326,000 and Augusto Kuri with nearly 3.5 million.

He said those candidates collectively accounted for slightly more than 9 million votes and argued that their political positions made Lula’s second-round increase difficult to explain.

“This is what you had in the table, but you have to remind that none of these candidates they are left wing, and at least two of them openly supported Flavio, which are Carriado and Romeo Zema. And Augusto Curry said that he was not encourage his voters to vote in Lula.”

Bolsonaro said Lula’s second-round total appeared to absorb essentially all of those votes while adding nearly 2 million more.

“So you have, let’s say, 9 million votes on the table. Lula, when he won, is just like he he got all of these votes, plus also another almost 2 million votes. This is just unbelievable.”

He also pointed to a map showing municipalities where each candidate increased support and claimed the geographic distribution was statistically implausible.

“So this is by statistic impossible to happen,” Bolsonaro said.

Another major allegation involved the decision to extend voting by two hours after 5 p.m.

Bolsonaro said Supreme Court Justice Zening, whom he described as Lula’s former lawyer and a lawyer for Lula during the 2022 election, made the decision alone.

“This guy by himself decided that we should postpone two hours more to let the voters come to vote. This is unpredictable. Never happened before in the Brazilian history, and it happened while the election was running.”

Bolsonaro further argued that the justice lacked the authority to make such a decision because he was not serving on the electoral court.

“And this justice from the Supreme Court is not in the electoral court, where is the place where you decide the judges decide about everything about the election, so he is not legitimate to do that.”

He returned to the second-round vote totals, saying Lula gained roughly 11 million additional votes, an increase of nearly 20% compared with the first round.

“Plus, this 11 million votes, about 11 million votes more than Lula got, increasing almost 20% from the first to the second round, Lula’s votes. This is just unacceptable. It’s like everybody’s seeing, everybody’s looking. There is, there is no way this to happen.”

Bolsonaro also cited polling as another reason for his doubts about the official result.

“From the 15 main polls of Brazil, only one said Lula was going to win. Polly Market on Saturday, like 24 hours before of the election, Flavio Bolsonaro was having about 80% of intention that he was going to win.”

He then urged people outside Brazil not to recognize the result and said additional information would continue to emerge.

“This is a message to you: Do not recognize these elections because even more other facts are coming up right now.”

Bolsonaro called for the election to be canceled and said international pressure would be necessary.

“So for sure, as Flavio said, we need to cancel this election. It was clearly flawed, but we need international pressure.”

He ended by emphasizing Brazil’s size and importance in South America and urging supporters to spread his message.

“We are not talking about a small country, about another country that is the biggest country of South America. We are half of South America in terms of territory, GDP, and population. It’s very crucial that we fight for Brazil. Thank you very much. God bless you, and do not forget to share this video.”
