Biden Comes Unhinged as He Slips in Polls: ‘I’m Not Going Nuts’

Stunning new polls out this morning reveal that Joe Biden is no longer the frontrunner in the Democratic primary. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren have both edged out Biden–who, just a few weeks ago, was seen as the uncontested frontrunner in the primary.

Monmouth University, which conducted the poll, concluded that the results suggest “the 2020 presidential nomination process may be entering a volatile stage.  The poll results also suggest that liberal voters are starting to take a closer look at a wider range of candidates, while moderates are focusing on those with the highest name recognition.  Another key finding that could contribute to growing volatility in the race is confusion over “Medicare for All.” Most say support for this policy is an important factor in choosing a Democratic nominee, but voters actually prefer a public option over a single payer plan.”

It seems as though Biden, who is constantly suffering brain-freezes and humiliating gaffes, is not taking the news well. He pushed back against those doubting his mental fitness for the White House, saying that he is not “going nuts.”

In New Hampshire the 76-year-old told an audience in New Hampshire, “I want to be clear; I’m not going nuts. I’m not sure whether it was the medical school or where the hell I spoke. But it was on the campus.

Even Biden’s staunches allies are reported worried that he is not mentally fit to hold office. Last week, Biden mistakenly claimed that Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy were assassinated during the late 1970s.

He told an audience, “Just like in my generation, when I got out of school, when Bobby Kennedy and Dr. King had been assassinated in the ’70s — the late ’70s — I got engaged.”

Both men were in fact assassinated in the 1960s.

Earlier this month, Biden made a similar gaffe while discussing gun control with reporters in Iowa. He said, “Those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president.”

The tragic event at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which resulted in 17 fatalities, occurred on February 14, 2018–more than a year after Obama and Biden left office.

Biden has also had problems tripping over words and confusing his whereabouts during speaking events. There is little doubt that these issues have contributed to his sinking in the polls, while the flagrant socialists Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders have seen their poll numbers drastically rise.
