Corey Feldman To Name Hollywood Sex Predators Who Abused Him And Other Child Stars

New documentary to be released this week

Corey Feldman landed his first acting gig when he was only seven years old, appearing in an episode of Eight Is Enough. Today he is known for his work in several popular movies including The Lost Boys, Stand By Me, and Gremlins.

In 2013, Feldman revealed a horrible secret about his life as a child actor: He, along with other young child actors, had been sexually abused by powerful Hollywood executives. Feldman never revealed the names of his abusers.

Today, at age 48, he is ready to reveal the names of several Hollywood pedophiles who abused both himself and other childhood stars in his new documentary, (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys. The movie will be aired on March 9th and 10th on the film’s website.

Feldman told Entertainment Weekly, “It’s been a tumultuous and very risky and very scary time period. The last two years have been insurmountable, but I believe that with great risk comes great reward. And I believe the reward in all of this, if nothing else, will be that these guys are finally exposed.”

The actor added that he hopes the release of his personal story will encourage other victims to come forward, as they did during the Harvey Weinstein allegations. His goal is the see these powerful abusers get indicted and go out of business.

Feldman said he would name multiple people who abused him, including one very powerful person in Hollywood who is very well known. He believes that his tell-all documentary will help bring justice to past victims and stop the Hollywood predators from assaulting others. He told EW “We’re hoping it kind of clears the pathway for more justice and for more voices to be heard, because this is really about enabling the voice of the survivor and empowering the survivor and turning the tables. All of these years, it’s been about protecting the bad guys, and that’s the way the laws were written, unfortunately.”

The once-popular movie star said he would eventually like to return to acting, something he’s been unable to do for several years. But regardless of his future acting success, he plans to continue advocating for survivors of childhood sexual assault.
