Presidential hopeful Joe Biden is battling accusations that he is suffering from dementia and mental decline. While he has denied these claims, his aides have also refused to deny that the candidate relies on teleprompters and scripts to get through supposedly “impromptu” interviews.
During a recent interview on Telemundo, Biden vowed to freeze deportations as president, then appears to be confused and says to someone off camera, “I lost that line.” Viewers believe he was using either a teleprompter or script that was situated offscreen.
The Telemundo host responded to Biden, “We can talk you and I on that.”
What is happening here in this interview w/ @JoeBiden? After he says he’ll freeze deportations once becoming president, he tells someone off camera, “I lost that line.” Telemundo’s @jdbalart then tells him “We can talk you and I on that.”
José, was he reading his responses? pic.twitter.com/Yoausx0zTr
