Pelosi’s Capitol Police Reportedly Snuck into Congressman’s Office & Photographed Documents

This is 3rd world stuff...

WASHINGTON, DC – A recent report from The National Pulse detailed a disturbing allegation brought against the U.S. Capitol Police, with Republican Rep. Troy Nehls detailing an incident from November where USCP officers allegedly snuck into his office to snap photos of documents – even trying again days later while disguised.

The National Pulse report, which fittingly referred to the officers in question as “Nancy Pelosi’s Capitol Police”, linked back to a Twitter thread that Rep. Nehls wrote on February 8th that detailed the November series of incidents where USCP officers snuck into his office without notice or permission.

Rep. Nehls claimed that the first incident occurred on November 20th, 2021, where the officers “entered my office without my knowledge and photographed confidential legislative products protected by the Speech and Debate clause enshrined in the Constitution, Article 1 Section 6.”

In Rep. Nehls mentioning of an alleged violation of the Speech and Debate clause, he appears to be alluding to the 2007 D.C. Circuit court decision in U.S. v. Rayburn House Office Building Room 2113 where it was interpreted that a search of a congressman’s office “violated the Speech or Debate Clause.”

The congressman further alleged that USCP officers tried gaining entry into his office again a mere two days later after the first incident, apparently disguised as “construction workers” and grilling his office staff.

“Two days later on Monday November 22, 2021 (Thanksgiving week), three intelligence officers attempted to enter my office while the House was in recess.

Upon discovering a member of my staff, special agents dressed like construction workers began to question him as to the contents of a photograph taken illegally two days earlier.”

Further down the Twitter thread, Rep. Nehls wrote that the USCP “never informed” either his staff or himself about what exactly they’re investigating him for, adding that police “had no authority” to enter his office and begin taking photographs of documents.

However, Rep. Nehls suspects that the reason he’s being targeted with some sort of clandestine investigation by the Capitol Police is because he considers himself to be “a vocal critic” of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as well as the USCP and the January 6 Committee.

The Federalist reported that the inspector general for the USCP confirmed that an investigation has been launched into the tactics of officers to ascertain whether there has been unlawful spying of members of Congress and their staff.
