Private Jet-Flying Pelosi is a Massive Hypocrite on Climate

The hypocrisy just never ends

The Left hopes that you won’t notice their hysteria over the climate scam is somewhat mitigated by their continued use of private jets. They want it to fall down the Orwellian memory hole. Not quite.

FNC: “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has spent over $500,000 on private jets since 2020 despite repeatedly describing climate change as an ‘existential’ threat the U.S. has a ‘moral’ obligation to address.

According to campaign filings with the Federal Election Commission, Pelosi’s campaign paid a Virginia-based private aviation provider, Advanced Aviation Team, over $437,000 between October 2020 and December 2021 and over $65,000 to Clay Lacy Aviation, a California-based private jet provider. Private jets are notoriously bad for the environment, producing significantly more emissions per passenger than commercial flights. Pelosi’s campaign spent $67,605 on private air travel just months before she said she viewed tackling the climate crisis as a ‘religious thing.’ ”

“For me, it’s a religious thing,” she said in November after leading a delegation to a useless United Nations Climate Change Conference. “I believe this is God’s creation, and we have a moral obligation to be good stewards.” Who knew she believed in God?

In fact, Pelosi’s private jets produce way more carbon dioxide than commercial flights per passenger, according to a June 2021 report by a European publication, Transport & Environment.

“Flying on a private jet is probably the worst thing you can do for the environment,” T&E aviation director Andrew Murphy. “And yet, super-rich super polluters are flying around like there’s no climate crisis.” Bingo. The Left and their Hollywood subdivision spout off on the climate change scam while, like with mask mandates, ignoring their own rules.

In 2019, former Climate Czar John Kerry flew to Iceland by private jet to pick up a climate change leadership award. Read that again. It’s like throwing a boozy melee to celebrate 10 years at Alcoholics Anonymous. But Kerry had an excuse.

“If you offset your carbon, it’s the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle,” Kerry said in an interview. Ah, people like him. Well, that explains it. He’s a superhero, so he gets a jet. The rest of us are evil if we drive to the grocery. That totally makes sense, to John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi.
