OPINION: On top of Russia invading Ukraine, discussions of Nuclear war, and World War 3, now there appears to be a new crisis playing out as there are supposedly secret biolabs close to the Russian border that were funded by the United States. It should be noted that Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland confirmed the existence of “biological research facilities” when speaking before the Senate. Still, as some like Democrat Tulsi Gabbard and Fox News’ Tucker Carlson are hoping to investigate the matter, the hosts of “The View” suggested they be arrested for holding such a view. 

On Monday, while the hosts of “The View” discussed the claims of biolabs in Ukraine, Ana Navarro suggested that the Justice Department get involved. “I think DOJ, in the same way that it is setting up a task force to investigate [Russian] oligarchs, should look into people who are Russian propagandists and shilling for Putin. If you are a foreign asset to a dictator, it should be investigated.” 

Chiming in with her own take, Whoopi Goldberg, who said the Holocaust wasn’t about race, added, “They used to arrest people for doing stuff like this. If they thought you were colluding with a Russian agent or putting out information or taking information and handing it over to Russia, they used to actually investigate stuff like this. And I guess now, you know, there seems to be no bars.”

Trying to connect all the dots, co-host Joy Behar, without any evidence, noted that “money” was most likely behind the reason for Tucker Carlson to push a supposed piece of Russian propaganda. 

As for Gabbard, she spoke with Carlson about the backlash she has received and said, “They are accusing me of saying that somehow there are bioweapons labs in Ukraine. I’ve said no such thing at any point. I have said that there are biolabs in Ukraine that have received U.S. support that contain dangerous pathogens that if those labs are breached, then we in the world are facing a potential future of pandemics that this is a dangerous crisis that needs to be addressed immediately. These pathogens need to be destroyed.”

The View calls on the DOJ to investigate “Russian propagandists” like @TuckerCarlson & @TulsiGabbard for supposedly “shilling for Putin.”
