Tulsi Gabbard Slams RINO Romney: ‘Apologize And Resign’

"You have a choice: out of pride, continue to deny the truth or admit you are wrong, apologize, and resign. Aloha."

WASHINGTON, DC – Tulsi Gabbard slammed Sen. Mitt Romney in response to his allegations that Gabbard was “parroting false Russian propaganda” and thereby spreading “treasonous lies” when Gabbard simply urged officials to take responsible action regarding the U.S.-funded biolabs in Ukraine.

The former congresswoman wrote in a Twitter thread that Sen. Romney “should do the honorable thing” and promptly “apologize and resign” regarding his abhorrent comments directed at her.

The back-and-forth between Gabbard and Sen. Romney seemingly stems from a video shared by Gabbard on March 13th, where the former congresswoman stated that the U.S. needs to get the biolabs in Ukraine under control before calamity strikes in the midst of the Russia/Ukraine conflict.

“There are 25 to 30 U.S.-funded biolabs in Ukraine. According to the U.S. government, these biolabs are conducting research on dangerous pathogens. Ukraine is in an active warzone with widespread bombing, artillery, and shelling – and these facilities, even in the best of circumstances, could easily be compromised and release these deadly pathogens.

“Now like COVID, these pathogens know no borders. If they are inadvertently or purposely breached or compromised, they will quickly spread all throughout Europe, the United States, and the rest of the world causing untold suffering and death.”

Apparently, this reasonable take regarding factual circumstances in Ukraine rubbed RINO Sen. Romney the wrong way, as he took to Twitter to proclaim that Gabbard was somehow disseminating “Russian propaganda.”

“Tulsi Gabbard is parroting false Russian propaganda,” the alleged Republican Senator said. “Her treasonous lies may well cost lives.”

Come March 14th, Gabbard shot back at Sen. Romney’s Twitter comments with her own thread highlighting the absurdity of him labeling her pleas to take reasonable measures in light of the circumstances as somehow being “treasonous.”

“[Mitt Romney], you have called me a ‘treasonous liar’ for stating the fact that ‘there are 25+ US-funded biolabs in Ukraine which if breached would release & spread deadly pathogens to US/world’ and therefore must be secured in order to prevent new pandemics.

“Bizarrely, you claim that securing these labs (or even calling for securing these labs) is treasonous and will lead to a loss of life, when the exact opposite is obviously true. The spread of pathogens is what will cause the loss of life, not the prevention of such spread.”

Gabbard further called for Sen. Romney to back up his claims that what she said in her video was “untrue and treasonous”, and that if he can’t, then he “should do the honorable thing: apologize and resign from the Senate.”

The former congresswoman went so far as to provide the evidence regarding her assertions about the existence of these biolabs, mentioning the March 8th Senate testimony from the State Department’s Victoria Nuland who voiced concerns about these labs “falling into the hands of Russian forces.”

Gabbard then pointed to a linked Pentagon fact sheet where she explained they contained “numerous statements directly & indirectly confirming the existence of such biolabs.”

She even went as far as to utilize leftist mainstream media outlets like CBS and CNN that also confirmed not only the existence of these biolabs, but that CBS’ “Face the Nation” correspondent David Martin had spoken to Pentagon sources who mentioned they’re worried about the Russians seizing one of these facilities where “they do research on deadly pathogens like botulism and anthrax.”

The Department of Defense, as Gabbard noted, is also aware that the Russians have had control of at least “two biolabs in Ukraine” for a considerable amount of time.

Gabbard wrapped up her online diatribe with reiterating her earlier stance that Sen. Romney should not only apologize to her, but to also call it quits in the Senate.

“So, Senator Romney, you have a choice: out of pride, continue to deny the truth or admit you are wrong, apologize, and resign. Aloha. And remember that without the truth, we can be neither safe nor free.”
