After trying and failing to run for president on two separate and humiliating occasions, Hillary Clinton has revealed whether or not she ever plans to run again.
“Would you ever run for president again?” CBS reporter Norah O’Donnell asked Clinton.
“No, no,” Clinton replied, according to Daily Mail. “But I’m gonna do everything I can to make sure that we have a president who respects our democracy and the rule of law and upholds our institutions.”
Undeterred, O’Donnell asked Clinton if she’ll run again if Donald Trump, who trounced her in the 2016 election, enters the race.
Objective reporting for the educated American.
“He should be soundly defeated,” Clinton said after admitting that she would not be the one to do it. “It should start in the Republican Party – grow a backbone! Stand up to this guy!”
“And heaven forbid if he gets the nomination, he needs to be defeated roundly and sent back to Mar-a-Lago,” she continued.
Clinton is currently making the rounds in the media to promote her new AppleTV+ docuseries “Gutsy,” which she stars in with her daughter Chelsea.

When asked back in March if she planned to run for president again, Clinton basked at the notion, saying, “no.”
“But I am certainly going to be active in supporting women running for office and other candidates who I think should be reelected or elected, both women and men,” she added at the time.
Clinton frequently attacked Trump during her CBS interview, claiming that he led a “seditious conspiracy” against the government before the January 6 Capitol riot.
“You know, I was the secretary of state,” she said. “I spent, you know, many days on airplanes, flying from place to place, encouraging people to have a real democracy. And one of the hallmarks of a real democracy is the peaceful transfer of power.”
“Was I happy when I beat Donald Trump by nearly 3 million votes but lost the Electoral College?” she continued. “No, I was not happy. Did I ever for a nanosecond think, ‘I’m gonna claim victory and try to get the Democrats to refuse to certify the election?’ No.”
Despite this, Clinton still referred to Trump as an “illegitimate president,” claiming that the Russians meddled in the 2016 election.
OutKick founder Clay Travis responded to Clinton’s claims that she won’t run for president again by telling Fox News that she would do so in a “heartbeat” if Joe Biden decides not to run for reelection.
“As soon as Joe Biden has to make an official decision, all of these people who claim that they have no interest in running at all will fall all over themselves to announce [their candidacy] the moment that Biden was to decide not to run,” Travis said.
“Now, I think the whole reason why Biden’s out speaking now and going after Donald Trump and trying to turn the midterms into a referendum on Trump is that Donald Trump is like Joe Biden’s life preserver,” he added. “If Donald Trump’s not around, Joe Biden has no reason for existence. He’s about to be 80. He knows he gets kicked to the curb. So he’s still trying to hope that he’s going to be able to run. But give me a break. If Biden didn’t run, Hillary would be there in a heartbeat. Don’t kid yourself.”
Trump has yet to reveal whether or not he plans to run in 2024 himself.
