Political commentator Scott Jennings criticized Kamala Harris over her decision to select Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for the Democratic ticket, arguing the move reflected submission to radical left-wing forces within the party and sidelined more viable candidates for ideological reasons.

Jennings made the remarks while analyzing the Democratic ticket, focusing on Harris’s decision not to choose Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, a Jewish Democrat from a key battleground state.

According to Jennings, the decision exposed internal dynamics within the Democratic Party that prioritize far-left activism over electoral strategy and mainstream appeal.

“They’ve showed us who they are,” Jennings said.

“Kamala Harris absolutely bowed down to the radical left in her party by not picking Shapiro who is Jewish.”

Jennings argued that Shapiro was the target of a sustained campaign within Democratic circles and said the motivations behind it were widely understood, even if rarely acknowledged publicly. “There was a nasty campaign run against him. Everybody knows it. No one wants to admit it, but everybody knows it,” he said.

Instead, Harris selected Walz, a decision Jennings framed as politically and strategically flawed.

“And she and she wound up choosing the person who was not Jewish and not as talented and not from the state that she has to win,” Jennings said.

Jennings acknowledged Walz’s performance during his public appearance but maintained that political considerations tied to ideology ultimately drove Harris’s decision.

“He did a nice job tonight. Everybody can see why he was the best choice, but she couldn’t do it because the party is somewhat awash in anti semitism,” Jennings said.

He then turned to Walz’s record during periods of unrest in Minnesota, particularly during riots that followed high-profile incidents in the state. Jennings argued those moments revealed what he described as a lack of resolve.

“And for walls. When he did what he did during the riots, to me, it was him saying, I don’t have the strength or the character to stand up to this anarchy,” Jennings said.

Jennings said Harris’s handling of the vice presidential selection and Walz’s past actions during unrest represented two defining moments that revealed the priorities of the Democratic ticket.

“So in two big decision points for this ticket, they’ve showed us they will always bow down to the radical left,” he said.

He framed the issue as one of cultural and political alignment with everyday Americans, warning that the Democratic leadership’s choices place it outside the mainstream.

“So I think if you, if you want to talk about normal to the normal people in this country, bowing down to the radical left is not normal,” Jennings said.

Jennings closed by arguing that voters should view the ticket as a clear signal of what to expect from a Harris-led administration. “

It shouldn’t be normal, and it should be a flashing red light to the normies of America that this is not the ticket for you,” he said.
