Turning Point USA is launching a high-profile alternative to the NFL’s Super Bowl halftime show, announcing a patriotic concert that will stream opposite the league’s official performance on February 8, as reported by Fox News.

The nonprofit organization revealed plans for “The All-American Halftime Show,” a live concert scheduled to air around 8 p.m. ET during the Super Bowl broadcast window.

According to Turning Point USA, the event will feature performances from Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

The alternative show is being positioned as a direct counterprogram to the NFL’s official halftime performance, which will be headlined by Latin music star Bad Bunny.

The league’s selection has sparked criticism among conservatives, who have questioned both the choice of performer and the broader direction of Super Bowl entertainment.

“We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,” said Kid Rock in a statement. “Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?”

Rock later added, “He’s said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”

Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said the alternative broadcast is intended to give viewers another option during halftime, particularly families seeking different programming.

“‘The All-American Halftime Show’ is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” Kolvet told Fox News Digital.

“We can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too.”

Kolvet also said the broadcast format will offer a more immersive experience than a traditional stadium performance, allowing viewers to feel closer to the artists.

The Super Bowl, set for February 8, will feature the New England Patriots facing the Seattle Seahawks.

Bad Bunny is scheduled to headline the official halftime performance, a decision that has continued to draw criticism, including from President Donald Trump.

“I don’t know who he is,” Trump told Newsmax last fall. “I don’t know why they’re doing it. It’s crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”

The controversy surrounding Bad Bunny has extended beyond the Super Bowl. Last year, the artist said he avoided scheduling U.S. tour dates due to concerns about Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“But there was the issue of — like, f—ing ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about,” Bad Bunny told i-D Magazine in an interview published in September.

Trump has since said he plans to skip the Super Bowl, citing criticism of the halftime performers and the game’s California location.

Adding to the debate, Green Day is slated to perform ahead of kickoff. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has previously been outspoken in his criticism of Trump.

Turning Point USA’s halftime show will stream across the organization’s YouTube, X, and Rumble platforms.

The broadcast will also air on Sinclair Broadcast Group’s OTT channel CHARGE!, available through services including Samsung Plus, YouTube TV, Hulu, and Sling.

Additional distribution partners include Daily Wire+, Real America’s Voice, and One America News Network.
