Commentator Carl Higbie voiced support for recent U.S. military operations targeting Iranian forces in the Middle East, arguing that the campaign has delivered significant military results and valuable battlefield experience for American forces.
Higbie discussed the developments while describing the scope of the reported operations against Iranian naval assets and other military targets. He said the actions have produced substantial results in a short period of time.
“So we got more than 20 Iranian Navy ships sunk, double the bombs of shock and awe, which was the initial strike on the Iraq back in 2003 first long range precision strike missiles successfully ever used in combat,” Higbie said.

He also pointed to combat footage circulating online showing the operations in action.
“And what is about the coolest video on the internet right there on your screen? Boom, boom.”
Higbie highlighted what he described as a historic moment involving American naval forces during the operation.
“For the first time since World War Two, American forces sunk an enemy ship with a torpedo like yes, I am fine with my tax dollars paying for this.”

According to Higbie, the military experience gained during the campaign has value beyond the immediate conflict. He said real-world combat testing provides critical feedback that can influence future military readiness.
“Now, the combat testing alone in this conflict and the immediate battlefield feedback we’re getting from this campaign, it’s worth the entire budget of the Pentagon.”
Higbie argued that operational experience gained during the campaign could strengthen the U.S. military compared to other global forces.
“The aerial experience from this operation sets us like light years ahead of any other country’s military.”
He said battlefield experience can help improve preparedness and potentially save lives in future conflicts.
“An experience saves lives in the future, and this experience is financially cheaper than most training scenarios, by the way.”
Higbie also addressed critics who oppose the operation, saying the campaign is directed against what he described as the leading sponsor of terrorism.
“But let me present something to the haters. They’re you know, we’re out there handing out dirt naps, so the number one state sponsor of terror, people should be cheering and people are upset about it.”
During his remarks, Higbie also referenced U.S. foreign aid spending in the Middle East and the justification often given for that assistance.
“But if you reduce this to just pure numbers, this is why this whole campaign is a good idea, the number one justification to all of our foreign aid in the Middle East is to combat Iran and their proxies.”
He said that justification has been in place for decades.
“That’s what the justification has been since 1979. 30% of all of our foreign aid goes to the Middle East.”
Higbie said that in the most recent year the United States provided between $15 billion and $20 billion in aid to countries in the region.
“Last year, we gave about 15 to 20 billion of our tax dollars to that region.”
He listed several nations that receive American assistance in the Middle East.
“For reference, folks at home, that’s 100% of the tax revenue from 1.4 million households in America went to Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and a bunch of others.”
Higbie also discussed the cost of the recent military operation itself.
“To date, as of about an hour ago, this attack has cost the United States of America about $5 billion.”
He argued that the campaign could have broader economic implications if it leads to access to natural resources in Iran.
“And if we finish it, and I’m talking to you, Congress, get out of the way.”

Higbie suggested that a successful campaign could change the need for U.S. foreign aid spending in the region.
“We don’t have to give a dime to any more countries in the Middle East while we pick up access to 30 trillion of Iran’s natural resources.”
He concluded his remarks by reiterating his support for the military effort.
“So again, say it again. Let the guy cook. I’m trusting him until he gives me a reason not to.”
