President Donald Trump called into The Five on Thursday, discussing a range of topics during the segment, including comments directed at co-host Jessica Tarlov, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The appearance was conducted remotely rather than in-studio. During the segment, the panel engaged Trump in conversation about current events and media coverage.

At one point, co-host Jesse Watters invited the president to appear on the set in the future during a time when Tarlov would also be present.

“Mr. President, the next time you do this on The Five, can we have you on set?” Watters asked. “Because we really want you to sit next to Jessica. I think you’d be a good influence on her. Can you do that?”

Trump responded directly when asked about Tarlov’s commentary on the program.

“Well, I think– I watch Jessica, and I’m not a fan,” Trump said, prompting laughter from the other hosts.

“And she uses fake numbers. She’ll give, ‘Well, he’s only polling [at] 42%.’ That’s not right. Polling very high, actually. You know, polls are just like– I hate people that use fake polls because polls are just like bad journalists. You know, bad journalists, they write fake stories. Well, fake polls do damage also. But that’s the thing. I’m sure I’d like her. I’m sure she’s a lovely person.”

Watters replied, “She’s a lovely person. We’re working on her. Don’t worry.”

Other members of the panel reacted to the exchange during the broadcast. Greg Gutfeld was shown reacting to the moment along with the rest of the group as the conversation continued.

The discussion centered in part on polling and media coverage, with Trump expressing concerns about what he described as inaccurate polling data and its impact on public perception.

His comments were delivered in response to a question about appearing alongside Tarlov on the show.

The exchange highlighted ongoing differences between Trump and commentators on television panels, particularly those with differing political viewpoints.

The segment also included broader discussion points beyond the exchange about Tarlov, though the interaction became a focal point of the appearance.

Trump has frequently appeared on Fox News programming, including “The Five,” where he has addressed policy, media coverage, and political opponents.

The call-in format allowed for direct engagement with the panel while continuing discussion on current political topics.

The appearance followed prior interactions between Trump and television personalities, with similar exchanges often occurring during interviews and panel discussions.

The latest segment added to a series of on-air moments involving commentary on polling, media reporting, and political messaging.
