Fox Nation host Abby Hornacek was taken to the mat during a live television segment on Saturday after being suplexed by professional wrestler Kennedy Blades while promoting an upcoming wrestling event, as reported by The New York Post.
Hornacek, 31, appeared on “Fox & Friends Weekend” to discuss Real American Freestyle Wrestling ahead of a scheduled event on Fox Nation later that day.
During the segment, Hornacek briefly interviewed Blades, who is the RAF Middleweight champion, before agreeing to demonstrate one of the wrestler’s signature moves.

“I’m so nervous,” Hornacek said as the two stood facing each other. The segment noted that both women were the same height, 5-foot-11.

Moments later, Blades executed the move, grabbing Hornacek around the hips, twisting her, lifting her into the air, and slamming her onto the mat.
The impact prompted audible reactions from those present, with several “Ooohs” heard in the gym.
Hornacek quickly got back to her feet following the move and appeared composed as she reacted on-air.
“Ohhh! Amazing. I don’t think I can be a wrestler,” she said, before giving Blades a high-five and turning her attention back to her colleagues in the studio.

She then held up her microphone pack, which appeared damaged from the impact.
“Alright, the mic pack did not survive, but I did, luckily,” Hornacek said.
Hornacek continued to describe the experience, noting that while it may have appeared intense on television, she did not feel harmed by the move.
“I know that looked worse than it was, but it was a lot of fun. I think I’m going to stay off the mat from now on,” she said.
She also compared the sensation of the move to a dramatic experience, adding, “But Kennedy here, I gotta say — that felt like being thrown off a skyscraper.”
Back in the studio, co-host Griff Jenkins asked about her condition following the demonstration.
“Are you okay?” Jenkins said.
“I feel great. I feel like a million bucks,” Hornacek responded.
The segment drew reactions from her fellow co-hosts, with Charlie Hurt describing it as the “greatest promo” he had ever seen.
Rachel Campos-Duffy echoed that sentiment, calling it the “best promo I’ve ever seen.”
Following the broadcast, Hornacek shared a behind-the-scenes video clip on X, referencing the moment.
“Got suplexed by an Olympian today, so that was cool,” she wrote.
