President Donald Trump said Monday night that the United States has a “virtually unlimited supply” of certain weapons, as U.S. forces continue operations targeting Iranian military assets, as reported by The New York Post.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described the current state of U.S. munitions stockpiles.

“The United States Munitions Stockpiles have, at the medium and upper medium grade, never been higher or better,” Trump wrote.

“As was stated to me today, we have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons.”

“Wars can be fought ‘forever,’ and very successfully, using just these supplies (which are better than other countries’ finest arms!).”

Trump added that supplies at the highest level were not yet where he wants them to be.

“At the highest end,” Trump said, “we have a good supply, but are not where we want to be.”

He stated that “additional high-grade weaponry is stored for us in outlying countries,” and criticized former President Joe Biden over prior military aid decisions.

“Sleepy Joe Biden spent all of his time, and our Country’s money, GIVING everything to P.T. Barnum (Zelenskyy!) of Ukraine – Hundreds of Billions of Dollars worth – And, while he gave so much of the super high end away (FREE!), he didn’t bother to replace it,” Trump wrote.

Trump also referenced his first term, saying he “rebuilt” the military before concluding: “The United States is stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!!”

The comments came after U.S. Central Command announced that American forces had struck multiple Iranian targets. In a post on X, Central Command detailed the scope of the operations.

“US forces have destroyed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command and control facilities, Iranian air defense capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and military airfields during sustained operations,” the statement read.

“We will continue to take decisive action against imminent threats posed by the Iranian regime.”

Trump has said the joint U.S.-Israeli campaign against Iran will continue. In remarks to CNN on Monday, he signaled further action.

“We haven’t even started hitting them hard,” Trump said — two days after killing Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei, 86.

“The big wave hasn’t even happened. The big one is coming soon.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio also addressed the situation on Capitol Hill, outlining what he described as the next phase of the operation.

“The next phase will be even more punishing on Iran than it is right now,” Rubio told reporters.

Guatemala City, Guatemala. 02-05-25. USA Secretary of State Marco Rubio speaks at a press conference after meeting with President Bernardo Arevalo.

“We will do this as long as it takes to achieve those objectives, and we will achieve those objectives.”

“The world will be a safer place when we’re done with this operation.”

Rubio did not provide a specific timeline for the duration of the military campaign. Trump has estimated that Operation Epic Fury could last approximately four weeks.

The developments mark an escalation in U.S. military engagement with Iran, following the destruction of Iranian air defense systems, missile launch sites and command posts, according to Central Command. Officials have indicated that additional operations remain under consideration as part of the broader effort.
