Video footage shows singer D4vd being taken into custody by armed Los Angeles police officers following his arrest in a homicide investigation tied to a missing teenage girl, as reported by the New York Post.

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was arrested Thursday at a residence in the Hollywood Hills, according to authorities.

Footage obtained by The California Post shows Burke in handcuffs, surrounded by multiple officers as he is escorted down a residential street.

Burke, 21, had not been publicly seen for several months prior to his arrest. In the video, he is seen wearing gray sweatpants and a black hoodie, appearing expressionless as officers led him away.

A neighbor who witnessed the scene described a heavy police presence in the area.

The neighbor told The California Post there were “so many cops” on the street before Burke was taken into custody.

According to the same account, one officer used a loudspeaker outside the home, shouting “Surrender!” during the operation.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that Burke was arrested in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas.

Authorities said the case dates back to September, when the dismembered body of Rivas was discovered in the back of a Tesla registered to Burke.

The vehicle had been located at a tow yard, where employees reported a foul odor coming from inside.

Law enforcement officials said the discovery led to an investigation by the department’s Robbery-Homicide Division, which ultimately resulted in Burke’s arrest.

“Detectives from Los Angeles Police Department, Robbery-Homicide Division have arrested David Burke, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, for the murder of Celeste Rivas.

Burke is being held without bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office on Monday for filing consideration,” an LAPD release said.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office confirmed it is reviewing the case following the arrest.

“Our office is aware of the arrest of David Anthony Burke by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The case is expected to be presented to the Major Crimes Division, at which point prosecutors will review the facts and evidence to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to file charges,” a release from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office said.

“At this time, additional information is not available. We will share an update on Monday once a filing decision has been made,” the release continued.

Rivas had been reported missing by her family in April 2025. Authorities have not released further details about the investigation or the circumstances leading up to her disappearance.

Burke remains in custody without bail as the case moves forward and prosecutors evaluate whether formal charges will be filed.
