Actor Dylan Sprouse and model Barbara Palvin addressed a recent home intrusion at their Los Angeles residence, describing how they have responded in the days following the incident, as reported by E! Online.
The couple spoke publicly three days after the event, which occurred at their Hollywood Hills home. According to reports citing law enforcement sources, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were called to the property in the early morning hours of April 17 following a report of an attempted burglary.
Sources told TMZ that Sprouse confronted the intruder while waiting for officers to arrive, holding the individual at gunpoint and tackling him to the ground.

The suspect was arrested at the scene. Authorities have not publicly identified the individual involved. E! News reported that it contacted the LAPD for comment but did not receive a response.

Sprouse, 33, and Palvin, 32, later discussed the incident during an appearance at the New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on April 20. Speaking with E!’s Creator Cam host Erin Lim Rhodes, the couple described how they have been coping in the aftermath.

"It's dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun," Palvin said.
Sprouse added that humor has played a role in how they have handled the situation. "We're laughing about things the moment they happen," he said. "You got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and there was no more violence than what happened. So, it's all OK."
The couple appeared relaxed while walking the red carpet, engaging in lighthearted exchanges and joking with each other. During the event, they playfully pointed out small details, including food in each other’s teeth, and Sprouse made a self-deprecating remark after becoming distracted by a nearby mirror.

"I love looking at myself so much," he said, "I had a twin split off of me for it."
Sprouse, known for his role in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, also referenced a scrapped idea to respond to the incident online. He said he initially considered posting a video featuring what he described as his “performative karate” moves, but ultimately decided against it after Palvin advised him not to proceed.
"But then Barbara told me it's cringe," he said, "and I shouldn't do it."

No injuries were reported in connection with the attempted burglary. Officials have not released additional details regarding the investigation.
Sprouse and Palvin, who have been together for several years and married in 2023, have continued with scheduled public appearances following the incident, including their joint appearance in New York City days after the reported break-in.
