A Fox News segment featuring anchor John Roberts and former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus focused on a network of organizations involved in organizing protests across the country, raising concerns about its messaging and potential impact.

During the broadcast, Roberts referenced findings from a Fox News Digital investigation that examined the scope and activity of the network.

“May Day rallies and marches. Here's what they said. A Fox News digital investigation has identified a sprawling red, blue network with a combined annual revenue of about 2 billion, organizing some 3000 protests at events and advancing what critics describe as an anti-American agenda,” Roberts said.

The report highlighted the scale of the network, including its financial resources and the number of events it has helped coordinate.

According to Roberts, the groups involved have promoted actions encouraging Americans to refrain from participating in normal daily activities.

“They have called it for America. They've called rather for Americans to skip work, school and shopping, red, blue, not meaning Republican Democrat, meaning communist Democrat, calling for people to skip school when we have performance and proficiency levels in this country that are so terrible,” Roberts said.

The segment addressed concerns about how such messaging could affect workforce participation and education, particularly in light of ongoing discussions about academic performance in the United States.

The emphasis on skipping school was noted during the conversation, with Roberts pointing to broader concerns about student achievement levels.

Priebus responded to the discussion by referencing a historical quote to frame his perspective on the messaging tied to the protests.

“Well, I mean, we all there was a famous quote of Churchill that said that socialism is the philosophy of failure, ignorance and the gospel of envy. And you can see that right in there, right in their mantra of no school, no work, no shopping, pure disruption,” Priebus said.
